VST 3040G

Is a 0.4mm thick acrylic foam pressure sensitive adhesive low temperature applied tape Grey in colour. Specifically manufactured for low temperature application approaching freezing and low surface energy surfaces. The foam is a high density visco-elastic foam of 780kg/m3 which has exceptional bond strength and load bearing capability. These foam tapes are structural bonding tapes which can replace mechanical fixings and spot welding of metals.
The tapes have very high and low temperature performance and can take up expansion and contraction co-efficiencies of different materials at variable temperatures due to Visco-elastic properties, The foams have excellent vibration, shock absorbency and anti-rattle characteristics. The tapes act as a complete water, moisture and dust seal and have very good UV resistance and long- term ageing properties.
Ideal for demanding applications that are both dynamic and static in external and internal applications in all climates. Uses and applications for bonding a wide range substrates, metals, plastics, glass, sealed wood, and composites :-
