VST 6080G

Is a 0.8mm thick acrylic foam pressure sensitive adhesive multi-purpose bonding tape Grey in colour. The foam is a high density visco-elastic foam which has exceptional bond strength and load bearing capability.

These foam tapes are structural bonding tapes which can replace mechanical fixings and spot welding of metals.
The tapes have very high and low temperature performance and can take up expansion and contraction co-efficiencies of different materials at variable temperatures due to Visco-elastic properties. The foams have excellent vibration, shock absorbency and anti-rattle characteristics.

The tapes act as a complete water, moisture and dust seal and have very good UV resistance and long- term ageing properties.
Ideal for demanding applications that are both dynamic and static in external and internal applications in all climates. Uses and applications for bonding a wide range substrates, metals, plastics, glass, sealed wood, and composites. Excellent for bonding a wide range of metals including stainless steel and aluminium.

VST 6000 Series grey acrylic foam tapes in thicknesses 0.4mm to 2mm thick have been independently tested to several OEM Company standards for Badging, Body Side Mouldings, Roof Rails, and other external and internal applications. (*Testing conducted on the OEM supplied paint panels in line with specifications.)
